Change of Kaitlens birthday plans!! She wants Strawberry Shortcake. So we are keeping Abbies Hello Kitty in Nov, but are giving kaitlen a small party on Oct 17th. Bens day off from work. We'll have dinner, cake and let the kids play. I'll order the strawberry shortcake pan soon.

A not so gentle push

into potty training for Matthew. He was pretty much day trained when i left for my moms and the combo of me being gone and daddy putting the diaper on him he went backward. He freaks if he don't have a diaper on. So last night i went potty all the way in the back of the house in our bathroom and the TP was gone!! great. well Matthew wanders in and i ask him to go get mommy some TP, after some thought he said no. What??? there is no use in yelling for someone else they wouldn't hear me. So i ask him in the most fun, sweet nice way and he still said no. Ok, two can play this game........ so i tell him if he doesn't got get me any tp then he cant wear diapers any more. I explained that to him every way imaginable........... so my stubborn child still says no. I got my own tp (thanks Matthew) and Matthew hasn't had a diaper since!!!! oh, he has whined and cried and wandered around the house with a diaper in his hand but not on his BUTT. When he woke up today when i took his night diaper off i said guess what today is??? No diaper day!!!!!!!!!! LOL. So two pee-pee's in the potty today.
I am just so stumped as to were M gets his stubbornness from ;o)

Artie Smartie Pants

Here is our dog that we adopted. He is sweet and so well trained. He was rescued from the Fayetteville shelter about a yr ago. He was about to be euthanized. His owners love him but he has a seperation anxiety and when left alone he barks. They are both full time students. They live in Apt's and had to get rid of him. We havent left him alone yet, but not like we'd be here to hear him bark and we have no neighbors to complain. he sleeps all night and is house broken. Responds to sit, stay, come, leave it, gentle, lay down. Him and Beau get along, but i think he wants to get Tiki our bird. I havent let Tiki out of her cage yet. :( poor bird.

This is the drive in movie theatre that we'd go to growing up it was on the corner on Beach Blvd (HWY 39) and Trask Blvd.

You could see two movies for like 3 dollars. I think that was the whole car load, LOL. Thomas and I watched The Lion King there like 5 times.

It is gone and you can go shop at Wal-Mart there now!! i think there is a home Depot or Lowes there too. Im sure there is a Carls Jr (same as Hardees, but a couple extra burgers that Hardees doesnt carry)

awww, sometimes i miss home, but is usally cured by a trip back there, LOL. You will NEVER see the street empty like that.

09-21-99

On Sept 21st at 9:04am PST Benjamin Cody Velasco was born at the same hospital his daddy was born at. Cody weighed 9#10oz and was 21" long.

LOL, Abbie had her first full on temper tantrum. Arms swinging, yelling, laying on the floor tantrum. I wish i had it on video!!!!!! why did she have it??? because i took a Nerf dart from her.
Boy, i think she'll be every bit of the *Terrible Twos* where did my sweet baby go.

A molar!!

Are you kidding me!!. She's just 9 months old. It explains why she has been cranky for the last week. I was almost going to take her tomorrow to the Dr. and for some reason it dawned on me to check her teeth and i was shocked to see the molar coming through. All this early teeth better not mean she'll hit puberty early!!

When she does we just look at eachother like NO WAY. she has said Soda several times same with hand and one day Ben said"abbie want some cereal?" she said "Yeah!!" her tone was totally answering his question.
