I emailed my order in for 25 chicks. They normally sell them in lots of 50, but if someone wants the other 25 then they will do it. They will grow up to look like this and the Hens will lay our eggs and the Roosters- well, just call them dinner. Once I get the hang of it I'll order more chicks.
Chick update: we are getting them in May/June (next batch)so that it's warmer and I have more time to learn and prepare for them.

OMG.. Your Not getting chicks to kill them.. NO way!! My neighbors have some and they get like 12 eggs a day from theres.
I would love some, but they would probably be sleeping with me by the end of the night.....

chickens are great to have, my mom has some...
make sure raccoons can't get them though... and large snakes... they'll be gone in no time... especially the babies... eek!
I don't like roosters... they always attacked me when my grandparents had them!!
Wish I could have chickens, but can't in this neighborhood! phhllllttt!
