Ok, you know how Cody was sick on Spring Break. That Saturday he seemed much better and we went to the Museum and then Sunday night he had a fever and was down and out again so we kept him home on Monday and he went back to school on Tues. So tues, he gets home goes straight to bed and sleeps through dinner and eventually gets up, eats and goes back to bed. He does this on Wed and Thurs too. So i told myself if he goes into my bed on Friday I'll take him to the Dr. Well, he fell asleep in the car on the way home from school and instead of going to my bed he layed on the couch and watched tv. So i didn't take him. Our weekend was lazy, he didn't have to do anything and we did nothing. So today he goes to school, comes home, goes to my bed and goes to sleep. SOOOO, do i take him to the Dr. Can he possibly still be getting over the bug. Ben even suggested a growth spurt. So, IDK. Once we took him to the Dr for a persistant cough and it turned out he had a bad sinus infection. So, that makes me wonder if there is something hiding in there making him tired and we don't know.
Oh, Cody's question of the day....
Use a word to describe the flavor of an onion.

Growth spurt sounds good. Also see if he is getting another set of molar in early. That happened to my sister.
or mono
awww, molar is a good idea. I'll look because the dentist did say," when are you going to get those molars in"
mono is not out of the question either. hmmmmm
I was thinking mono too. I had it when I was in the 8th grade and I slept A LOT!!!
Onions: flavorful
Mono is on the rounds around here, when DJ was so sick last week that was the first thing the urgent care doctor tested for (and flu, and strep, all three came back negative thankfully as the next day papa was with him for three days on their own!)
Onions: tasty
I looked up the symptoms of mono cause I really don't know much about it and I'm leaning toward mono too. It now makes sense how he spiked a fever on that Sunday and had a sore throat.
I called Ben and i guess it's going around here too.
Oh, my answer to Cody's question was Onion-y, lol
Isn't mono from kissing???
Onion...Yummy!
Mono can be spread through contact with saliva, mucus from the nose and throat, and sometimes tears. Because the virus can be spread through kissing, it has earned the nickname the "kissing disease."
I seriously doubt Cody was kissing anyone, lol. If that's what Code has I think Ben brought it home from work since one of the officers daughters had it and with the long incubation period it fits the time line.
Ben just said that Codes teacher had said it is going around school. So i guess thats where he got it.
well it seems that you kinda think you know what it is, I had no idea, so... yeah! LOL...
hmm a word to describe the flavor of an onion... well I would say that most of the time, most onions are "spicy"... :) also "earthy"... not in the same way a potato is, but they are also earthy in their own right...
