Santa Pictures

We went to the mall today and got the kids pictures taken. They all did really good. Abigail slept through it. Matthew likes Santa because Santa has candy :o) Tomorrow I'm going to try and take some pics of all the kids together for Christmas cards. At the pace I'm going my cards wont make it out before Christmas.

My sister is here

She got here on Sunday and she'll be leaving this Sunday. The kids have had a blast with her. Here is a pic of her with Kaitlen. I'll post more later. This is my twin for those who don't know that.

Abigails 2 week appt

We went on Thursday for her appt and she is doing great. She weighed 10.4. She is gaining JUST FINE :o) She is 21 3/4 inches. They probably thought she grew alot because they miss measured her last time. They would show her growing 1/2 an inch when she really grew 1/4 inch in the last week. The Dr said she doesnt act like a 2 week old that she acts like a 1 month old. Abigail can hold her head up and turn it to were she wants it. She loves to look at you and listen to you talk. It was neat because at the dr's office they have a mirror on the wall next to the exam table and she was looking a me through the mirror. to me thats kinda amazing because looking at someone in the reflection of a mirror makes them twice as far away than if you were to turn around and look at them so I am guessing her eyesight is better than what the books say they are at this age. The dr also noticed how she was looking at me and commented on it. We actually spent most of the appt listening to the Dr tell how advanced Abigail was :o) so we left there with big heads, LOL.

Abigails Christmas gifts

I ordered Abigails Christmas gifts. Since she is only going to be a month old she doesnt really need any thing. So I ordered her a Taggies Giraffe and a Taggies blanket. Now do I make her wait till Christmas to give it to her, lol

Abigails 1st Dr's appt

Here's the outfit Kaitlen picked out for her to wear. She did great at her appt. she weighed 9#2.5oz so she wasnt down much at all. He said he'd he would expect a breastfed baby to be down more than that. They measured her wrong. She wouldnt straighten out her leg so she was 21 1/4 - she shrunk a 1/4 inch, lol. He said she looks wonderful and to keep doing what we are doing.

Here's Ben with Matthew. Matthew started to throw up right when i was going to get into the shower so we could leave for Abigails 1st dr's appt. Ben took care of him so i wouldn't catch anything. I had to call the dr's office and push the appt to the afternoon. Thankfully he got what ever it was out of his system after two boughts. But Ben was 2 for 2. Two shirts for to episodes of vomiting. Thankfully noone elses got it.

Whats her name????

I call Abigail everything but her own name. I mostly say Kaitlen or Matthew, but even today called her Emmy from her cousin Emily. We were talking about nicknames and we both like AJ and my sister even said Abbie Jo. Both very cute. but for now she'll probably be Kai..Mat..Em...

Abigail was born on 11-22-06 at 5:14am. She weighed 9#'s 8oz and was 21 1/2" long.

These are some of the pics i took to make her birthday invite. I have been meaning to post them. I took ALOT. Here are a few.

4 years ago

4 years ago today Bens dad Bill passed away. On Sept 5th 2002 we took him to the ER to get looked over because we knew something was really wrong, while his regular MD just RX'd motrin (i wont got into his reg MD) so after talking to the nurse and the Er Dr they sent him for a CT of the brain were they found 7 tumors. His Lymphoma had come back after 12 yrs and showed up in the brain. He was hospitalized and eventually got to come home on hospice. Ben took a leave of absence from work and everyone took care of Bill. I was 6 weeks away from delivering Kaitlen. Bill fought and made it for kailtens arrival on Oct 18th. I even told him on the 17th when i was going home to go to bed that maybe tonight she'd come. and she did, i went into labor at around midnight. He always touched my stomach and sang to her. He called her Matilda, which is were she gets one of her middle names. he loved to hold her. He could only move his rt arm and would actually squeeze your hand so hard that you couldnt stand it, but when we put her in his arm he was so gentle and wouldnt want to give her back. We'd have to leave her blanket with him so he thought he was still holding her. He held on untill the early morning hours of Nov 3rd and died with her blanket. It's hard to believe it's been 4 yrs. He is still very much missed (of course). Cody still talks about him and his chair and the cookies they'd eat. The shows they'd watch and yep, Kaitlen talks about Pop too. she knows who he is. i imagine He's been watching over Miss Matilda this whole time. Boy would he have loved to get to know Matthew and William. Football would be shining in his eyes.
