Here's how she told me. I was putting her in her car seat, we were going to go to Wal-mart to get Cody baseball pants and i asked her if she wanted to get the baby something. Here's our conversation.
Me- you want to pick out something for the baby
K- yes, shes a girl
Me- really, you know it may not be a girl
K- it's not going to be a boy, it's a girl
Me- What makes you think it's going to be a girl
K- Because Nana told me
We didnt concieve this baby unitll almost 2 months after Betty passed away. Kaitlen really wants a sister, so she could just be throwing a bunch of stuff together or she can be talking to her Nana. :o)

Hey, when a child speaks with conviction, I've learned to listen. At the age of 22 months, she put her hand on my pregnant tummy and said "Shister ... it be a baby shister". And it was! Then at almost 3, she looked me in the eye, pointed her finger at me and said, "We WILL have another baby, ShelPotter, and it WILL be a baby brother!"
I'd be painting the nursery pink if I were you! LOL!
Ooops, I didn't identify the child ... that would be Syd, if you hadn't guess already :-)
what a precious story. for kaitlen i really hope its a girl. she wants a sister so so bad.
