Abigails turn

3 down and 2 to go..... assuming Thomas hasn't already had fifth disease. Back then i wouldn't have even notice with Thomas. He was a bad eczema kid anyway.
Her cheek rash started yesterday. literally one second it wasn't there and the next it was.

10 expenses that add up fast

Coffee: According to the National Coffee Association, the average price for a cup of brewed coffee is $1.38. There are roughly 260 weekdays per year, so buying one coffee every weekday morning costs almost $360 per year.

Cigarettes: The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids reports that the average price for a pack of cigarettes in the United States is $4.54. Pack-a-day smokers fork out $1,650 a year. Weekend smoker? Buying a pack once a week adds up, too: $236. (just think of two packs a dayer or 3)

Alcohol: Drink prices vary based on the location. But assuming an average of $5 per beer including tip, buying two beers per day adds up to $3,650 per year. Figure twice that for two mixed drinks a day at the local bar. That's not chump change.

Bottled water from convenience stores: A 20-ounce bottle of Aquafina bottled water costs about $1. One bottle of water per day costs $365 per year. It costs the environment plenty, too.

Manicures: The Day Spa Magazine Price Survey of 2004 found that the average cost of a manicure is $20.53. A weekly manicure sets you back about $1,068 per year.

Car washes: The average cost for a basic auto detailing package is $58, according to Costhelper.com. The tab for getting your car detailed every two months: $348 per year.

Weekday lunches out: $9 will generally cover a decent lunch most workdays. If you buy, rather than pack, a lunch five days a week for one year, you shell out about $2,340 a year. (hmmm, Ben....he doesn't spend 9 dollars he gets a discount, but it still adds up. Actually today was his first day of bring leftovers. He doesnt eat dinner here and he take our dinner leftovers the next day)

Vending-machines snacks: The average vending machine snack costs $1. Buy a pack of cookies every afternoon at work and pay $260 per year.

Abigail

She asked for seconds on the macaroni and when i gave her more i noticed she poked out the centers of carrots. Lol, silly girl!

Branson 08 part 4- Silver Dollar City

We had a two day pass to SDC. This was our first time going

I don't remember the name of this roller coaster but Ben says it's the same as Thunder Mountain at Disneyland. So that at least gives you and idea of what it's like. This was Cody, Kaitlens and Matthews first time on a roller coaster. Matthew didnt like it.

Ben had them spinning super fast.

Abbies hair. She started off with it back and eventually pulled the band out and with the rain ended up with her curly rag top :)The "Dumbo" ride This ride opened back up right before we were going to leave. It had closed from the rain. It looked pretty cool.

Kaitlen actually liked it even though she looks petrified

mining for precious stones

Abbie getting a mineral pedi :)

For Kim and anyone else who wants to know :)

Pillowcase dress and all the other patterns i use. They all come from the same person. She is on eBay. She is super cheap!!!! and everything that i have made is easy.
I do the elastic different than she does. I measure the top of the finished dress. Cut a piece of elastic that length. cut that piece in half. cut 4 strips of ribbon and sew one strip to each end. run one ribbon/elastic strip through each casing then sew them so you only see the ribbon coming out, not the elastic. About an inch in and it gives you the perfect gather all the way across. Kaitlens 4th of July dress is the first i did it with and i like it. dont use frey check on the ribbon. take a lighter to the edge you cut and it seals it really good. Both Ashley and I have had the frey check not work and ribbon come undone in the wash.

Fishing

The girls got their hair extra conditioned tonight. Abbie get horrible dreadlocks and baby shampoo only goes so far. So every one in a while they get the good stuff and i love how soft their hair is afterward.
They BOTH had their bows in!!
We went out to dinner before fishing so the girls were dressed for dinner, not so much fishing

Matthew with his catch of the day

Thomas caught the bush to the right
miss cutie
Kaitlen was so very proud

Cody caught the biggest. A sun perch. (the other side there is yellow on it)

I thought we were going to end up with another pet......
