My kids at the skate park

and thankfully no one else was there. This is obviously not their sport. Matthew took all his gear off except his helmet and we couldn't find one of K's knee pads. We have learned for our kids that skateboarding at the park is a Fall, Winter, and Spring sport, not Summer. They did have 'fun' and they learned about having quick reflexes.

Generic Lucky Charms

Friday morning Abigail broke out in a rash on her face. Even though it was all over, there was a defined circle going from her mouth to up and around to between her eye brows and then back down to her mouth. Like she drank something, but it was bigger than a cup. We gave her benadryl and went on with our day.
Just about every night Abbie will eat a bowl of cereal and Friday night was no different, she had generic Lucky Charms, Always Save Marshmallow Glitters (just like in the morning). So I made it, she ate it. She started breaking out again. Because I'm such a genius, i think it's the milk. She's been drinking milk for a year now with no problems, but my nephew did have sudden milk allergies.
So Saturday morning I make her a bowl of Honeycombs because we are out of Marshmallow Glitters. She doesn't break out. Bingo, allergic to something in the Marshmallow Glitters. What it is I have no idea.
It was funny when I realized which bowl she used on Friday morning to leave that ring on her face. She has a small pink plastic bowl and I guess it's great to drink out of. The other bowls have a lip on the edge and not-so-great to drink from.

Abbie is prepared ;) ok, I swear i don't have loads of free time on my hands and it only took like 10 minutes to make. She's not crying because of the mask, she crying because Cody pulled some kind of prank on her and she came to tell me. She happens to really like the mask because it's hers and none of the other kids have one. Now my kids want Dr costumes, lol.

The Weekend

I figured I'd throw all the pics into one post.

Saturday we went to Mt View to leave flowers for Bens mom. The kids got to pick out the flowers and Cody brought a plastic Easter egg to leave at her grave. After we left the cemetary we went to a gun show they had going on their. Matthew was in heaven!!!! and Code was very interested in the antique pistols. Then of course Abbie was freaking because there was people all over the place.

After we left the gun show we met up with Uncle Lani and Auntie Anna for lunch. The kids always love getting together.

My Matthew is actually William Matthew John and William is William Jacob.

They look so much alike. They even have the same lumps on their skulls. The only thing is their color. Matthew is as white as white can get. He's my white boy and Willy has tan skin like Kaitlen and Emily. Poor Matthew and Cody, they didn't get any of the Filipino skin color.

ok, neither did Abbie, LOL. but Abbie has a lot of red hair. It's hard to capture in a pic though.

oh, the boys and their Easter clothes? Well, I cut their hair and told them to shower and finish getting dressed and they never finished......... and we weren't going anywhere so i didn't press the issue.

Pink eye

I haz it. Thanks Abbie. She has a cold and she always gets it in her eyes too. So she decided to share it with me and I woke up with goopy, puffy, red eyes. I look hot!! I just hope the school kids don't get it. Abbie is a trooper. She's rocking her baby and eating grapefruit right now.

Update on the sickies

Kaitlen is MUCH much better! She is now fever free and back to normal. Cody is still down and out, but fairing it well. Last night at 9:30 pm he came into the kitchen and asked why it was so dark ( i thought, oh no, something is wrong with his eyes.) I ask him what does he mean. He says, why is it so dark outside?? LOL, the poor kid slept all day and didn't realize it and felt it should be daylight out. I told him cause it's 9:30pm, lol. He went back to bed at 10pm. Abbie does good if I keep her fever down. Matthew- Hasn't got it yet and has been NONSTOP all week long. Literally running from on end of the house to the other and he has some heavy feet on him. Going across the wood floor is loud. I try to tell him to be quiet, but it doesn't work. So that's where we are at. Cody and Kaitlen go back to school on Monday, and we didn't do a thing for Spring Break.

Went to the park

After school today i took the kids to the park for an hour since it was beyond nice out.

Yes I made Matthew another pair of coolio pants. lol.

This one man there asked where do you get a pair of pants such as those? LOL. I told him i made them. He had actually liked them. :)

Then when we got home we went and played in the yard until almost 7pm. We are loving the sun.

I seriously thought they were long gone in the trash!! I turned this house upside down looking for these keys back when i lost them. So, where did i find them you ask???? In the toy room , in the corner, behind a large toy tub. I went through all the toys. I guess i should have looked behind them.

My daughters addiction

Abbie has her coffee every morning. She has since she stopped breastfeeding. We had figured it changed the flavor of my breast milk and she was getting her coffee every morning since she was born. As for the caffeine, i would say none, or next to none was in the breast milk. Just the flavor. I don't remember how we realized she needed her coffee, but we did. So every morning, in her sippy, went a little bit of coffee, some creamer, sweet n low, and some milk. She was very much a grouch before she got her coffee and then fine afterward. so my 2 y/o daughter is addicted to coffee, cafinated coffee.

Lets fast forward to the first day of Kindergarten..

Baby, did you eat all you cereal? grab your backpack? brush your teeth? don't forget to drink your coffee...

I should probably switch her to hot ovaltine.
