9 years ago today

at 9:04am Pacific time I gave birth to Benjamin Cody Velasco. He weighed 9#s 10oz and 21" long. I can not believe 9 years have gone by.

The best for last. This is Codys Pop. Just two weeks earlier we found out Pop had 7 tumors on his brain. Cody and Pop were buddies. He was and is his Grandfathers Grandson. Cody is just like his Pop. He eats like him. Has the same interests as he did. Watches all the same shows. The Discovery Channel, Science stuff, documentaries. Pop you would be beaming with joy. I wish you were here to share it with Cody.

Need I say more??? No, not really, but I will. LOL. Im down to 4 kids until Sunday. Thomas is staying at a friends. Whoo hoo. Now to figure out where to dump off the other 4. J/K. Our Netflix came in so we will be watching some movies. Hopefully they are good. Have a great weekend!

She threw a fit this morning! she did not want me to take the braids out of her hair. She wanted to wear them too school. Well, i won at the cost of her refusing to eat breakfast. Boy is she stubborn. Hopefully i got her to school with enough time to eat breakfast there. If not, she at least has snack before lunch.

I got them a new bottle today. It holds 10oz which is good because they eat 4 oz each and i only have to fill up one bottle. They are picky about their nipples. They didn't like the new nipple and thankfully the old nipples fit in the bottle.

I braided Kaitlens hair today and I'll take it out in the morning. The other day i had put two french braids in her hair and she liked how it looked the next day when she took them out. It probably would have been faster to run out and get a hair Krimper. Maybe for her birthday :)

Abigails hair. I gave her bangs a while back, but the rest of the hair that would come forward would hang in her eyes and i was getting tired of it and so was she. I really didnt want her bangs to be the whole top of her head, but it is now!!! LOL. It looks fine. I kinda rounded it out and shaped it and cut an inch off the back. So she can see the world even without a clip in her hair. :)

Puppy update

This is Spot

Last night Little Dan died (the all white one) He ate fine at 4 am and his next feeding he didn't want to eat and it took me about 4 hours to force an ounce down. His breathing had change. It was sad. The kids did real well. Code keeps forgetting Dan is gone. He's the one who named him. It is weird only having two now.
The pups should be opening their eyes really soon. They scoot around really well. I will admit they are a lot of work. There is so much that their mom would be doing so much better than me. Newborn kittens are much easier!!!

ok, this is a grody to the Max!!
I was feeding a pup and he was done and i left him in my lap and he started to crawl off my lap and i went to catch him with my arm/elbow. so he is face down/butt up. Yep, I squeezed the poop right out of him and all over me. Hair/face/arm/shirt. yes, i took a long shower.

OH, BTW, THEY ARE STILL UP FOR ADOPTION!!!!! they are two weeks now, so 4-6 weeks left????

Tomorrow I'll get better pics up. He was crawling through the blanket and fell asleep. It was cute. I had other pics of Matthew with the pups but they are not on my camera so i'm thinking Matthew erased them when he was taking pics.
