I called my mom crying, expecting her to make it all better. Moms can do that you know.

Went on the 13th to donate blood only to find out it was a 4 hour wait and Cody needed to eat dinner soon, so I had to go back a different day.

Remember thinking the hospitals are waiting for the injured, but no ambulances are showing up with them.

Our little Farm

Here are the animals we recently added to our family. Of course if you are on my FB you all ready know this.

This is Marie. Im hoping she gets pg in November and once she has baby we will have milk, cheese, yogurt...

This is Chivas (goat in spanish) he is Marie's husband to be ;)

Next, say hello to Dinner. Really, his name is dinner. He will be our turkey on Thanksgiving.

Here is one of our roosters hanging with Dinner. Remember the chicks we got. Only 2 of the Rhode Island Reds ended up being hens. The rest were roosters. This guy was a late bloomer, I had actually thought he was a hen because the other roosters were VERY obviously roosters, him... not so much. Surprisingly I did not name the chickens. The Bantams are doing good, small, not really what i needed. They are pretty, but I want hardy egg layers.

Part of K's costume

Kaitlen is going to be a bumble bee for Halloween (her BFF is going to be a daisy) So this is what i have so far. Her knee high socks, and i made her a yellow tutu and instead of alternating black and yellow i did it all yellow and tied some black tulle through out it.

The pics are backwards, but o'well. This was their performance to Wipe out. They are in the middle of a shimmy.

The girls took, group and individual pics. We get them at the game when they perform for our town.

Abbie was light brown, then red haired and now she is blonde.

chipped tooth

Kaitlen chipped her left front tooth when she was swimming under water. Her eyes were closed and she hit the step. You can see it's just the inside corner and I think her teeth are so young that they still have all those bumps to smooth out so it really won't be noticeable when she is older, but still I'll have her dentist tell me that instead of me assuming, lol.

Today at Cheer camp

Today I finally remembered to bring my camera to cheer. Today was crazy hair day so I put many ponytails in Kaitlens hair :)

Toward the end, the fire alarm went of at the school and we had to exit the building.

So they did some chants and fun stuff

We got to go back in. There was no fire. People were doing work in a different area of the building and they think that's what set it off.

Today kaitlen and her BFF Jasmine went to cheer camp. They ran into their other BFF Meme (in the yellow shirt by the wall) They had a blast. It was too cute.

So it's about 2 weeks late and have had this plan in my head for almost a yr?? but here it is. Now in the pic you can totally tell i got black fabric from 2 different lots!!! but it doesn't look that noticeable in real life, just on pictures, grrrr. The red also isn't as bright as it is in the pics.

They have finally found the remains of Capt. Michael Speicher. I've mentioned him before when Matt Maupin's remains were found. God Bless the families who are no doubt going through a lot of emotions.

Childhood Cancer Awareness Walk in NWA

Hi Everyone, I am sending out this email to everyone in my email address book. I know some of you are my Ebay transaction emails, but for anyone that does not want to revieve any further updates on the walk just let me know. Thank you.

 

I am organizing a walk for childhood cancer awareness. I have started a website called k9sloveforkids.com and it'll give you more information. It's a dog walk at Prairie Grove battle field and the more dogs the better. September is Childhood cancer awareness month and the ribbon is a gold ribbon. Not many people know this and I want the word about pediatric cancer to get out there. I have attached a flier about the event. I am hoping to add more sponsors soon. The walk is Sept 12th and I know it gives us little time, but I know it can be done.

Childhood cancer awareness walk

I am organizing a childhood cancer awareness walk in our area. It's called K9's love for kids because a child's and an animals love to each other are amazing. If you live in our area pack up your pooch and head on over to the walk on Sept 12th, 2009. The money raising part comes from a registration fee of 5$ for each dog (bring lots of dogs!!) Humans walk for free :) So far Arvest Bank is supplying 200 hot dogs and I am hoping to add several more sponsors to the bottom of the flier.
I have a website set up too. www.k9sloveforkids.com. You can register for the walk online or the morning of the walk at the park.

100% of all the money raised will go to juliansworld.org. I know you all know King Juju.

We got a free piano

It needs some TLC and it needs to be tuned, but it works fine. I am so addicted to the free section on craigslist (yes, i know CL is dangerous), it is crazy what people will give away. They had no room for it and were sick of looking at it in their garage. It is in our garage until we get it fixed up and find a better way to move it up the porch steps into the house. It weighs a ton.

It is super easy to do. They send you a packet with 4 swabs. You swab your cheeks and send it all back.

This was in our car.

This is just a still pic from the internet. We had to go (needed to go) to both church services (kids had performances) so I got everyone ready and out the door with 15 minutes to get there. All the kids were in the car and i tossed my purse into the passenger seat and started the car. A ginormous spider crawled over my purse and down to the floor board.

AACK! I had ZERO time to get the thing out, so we drove to church with it in our car. Kaitlen cried the whole way and she never saw the spider. Poor thing. After the first service and when the kids went to Sunday school i went to the car with a couple from our church (Both Fay Officers) and the husband got it out of my car and I video taped it. i thought it was a juvenile tarantula but it ended up being a Dark Fishing Spider.
Don't worry, I'm reading your mind. How did it get into the car??? WELL, yesterday Ben took the Double Jogger out of the garage and put it in the car because we were going to the mall. It crawled out of the jogger at some point and made its way all the way to the front of the burb, lol. to MY seat. Boy am I glad that Ben didn't go to church today and stayed with sleeping abbie because I would have sat right on that sucker.
