I cant believe our God Daughter is 7. Thats crazy. Wanna here a funny story. Lani and Anna didnt let anyone know they went into labor and called Betty and Bill after they had Emily. Well, I get a call from Bens brother saying they had had the baby. So i hurry across the street to Bettys and Bills and i ask Where are they???????? THEY LEFT, without ME to go see the baby!!!!!!! WHAT!!, I go everywhere with them, lol. How could they forget me. I was floored. I had to wait untill the next day and we ALL went to the hospital. They forgot me, how??????? :o) I love them and I miss them so much.

Schools out for summer!!!!!

Today was the kids unoffical last day of school!!! Their last day is really Monday but they were told that they didnt have to come. Thomas' VP said you are more than welcome to come...... but we dont want you here ;oP

She is so much better

By the time i put Abigail to bed last night I finally got her temp down and today it is 99.6 which i think is considered a normal temp now a days. So no Dr appt for her!! I'm glad I waited until today because he would have cathed her. She is still grumpy and a little more vocal about not feeling well. I think her throat is feeling better. That was one nasty virus, I believe it was worse than the flu. I have been kissing on her and have not gotten sick. Im guessing it's one of those viruses you get as a kid but are immune to once your an adult (i hope, lol)

Little Abigail

She is still sick. She still has her fever. Yesterday morning it was 105.3 I think thats the highest any of my kids have gone. Todays it 103.5. I was really hoping to not have to take her back to the Dr's :(

Found an old friend

Cris an I met at the Cowboy Boogie immediatly became friends. After Ben and I got engaged we lost contact. Well, last week i decided to look her daughter up on myspace because she has what I would call a unique name. Sure enough I found her and emailed her. She 18 now, she was 8 the last time I saw her. She let her mom know that I contacted her. Here Is Chris and I 10 yrs ago at the Boogie. (Thats also were Ben and I met, LOL)

Poor Abigail

Poor little thing. She has been running a fever since she got up Sunday. We took her to the Dr today and he says it looks like its viral. She is congested and she gags when she nurses, sometimes she throws up from it. He said her throat was red. i bet it's swollen too. Boy she got mad at him when he looked in her throat. She was suppose to have her 6 month well check tomorrow, but it was pushed until 6-10. He said he normally works the sick side but he'll come over to the well side to do her well check plus a kinda followup appt. If she isn't getting better in a couple days and is still running a fever then he said they'll cath her and check her urine for a UTI. :( boy, I hope she starts felling better.

The joys of sisterhood!!!!!

6 Months Old!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday Abigail turned 6 months old!!!!!! That went by way to fast. Last night i put her on her hands and knees and she stayed like that for a bit. i got a pic of her still holding her upper half up. The outfit she has on was Codys. Actually now that i look, both outfits were codys.

I love our dog. She doesn't let strangers come up to our house. Which happens ALOT out here. Someone showed up to sell us frozen steaks and he wouldn't get out of the car because of her and then today i heard a car door and then Sammy jumped up and started barking REALLY loud. The guy practically ran back to the car. The driver hadn't gotten out and she was laughing at the guy. They were both dressed up and he had stuff in his hands. I'm thinking they were Jehovah's witnesses. They show up at our house several times a yr. That would be nice if they'd quit coming. Yeah Sammy for protecting her family.

Tank

This is my sisters dog Tank. He is 10 y/o and his age caught up with a while ago, but now there is no stopping it. They are going to take him to the vet tomorrow to have him put down. :o( He is deaf and has been for a while. He falls alot and is peeing blood with clots and blood in his poops. He is a great dog. I havent seen him in yrs but when we all lived in Ca and you walked in you'd have to give him a hug or he'd follow you around untill you did. He acted human. He could say "I love You" I am so not kidding. It was amazing, I hear him over the phone. Just the other night he was 'talking'. I feel so bad for them. To the kids Tank has always been there, as far back as they can remember.

I have a picture of Tank playing with our dog PJ who is 10 yrs old too. I'll look for it sometime this week. We took PJ over for a playdate, LOL.

the joys of being a mom

Matthew finally went poop last night and i got the lovely job of looking for the penny. It was actually there. We now have the penny that Matthew choked on. Over the last day and a half i tried to convince myself that maybe it wasn't a penny, maybe he wasn't choking *that* bad. But he was truly choking and it was a penny. So i let my brain stop there and just be very glad that that i was digging through poop.
Soooooo, i know your asking yourself "where's the picture?"............ soon, I'm just to lazy to take the pic and upload it.

Fevers, fevers, fevers

It started Sunday with Cody and he ended up missing 2 days of school. Kaitlen started on Tuesday and then Matthew on Wed. Im just waiting for A to get it and maybe thomas. He kinda misses getting sick from the younger ones.

Had to do the Heimlich on Matthew

Last night Ben was putting Abbies swing together (it finaly got here) and she was sitting next to me on the couch and Matthew had gone behind Bens recliner where he hides to go poop. Well he comes out from behind the chair choking and it wasn't the gagging on something whack him on the back kinda thing. I hopped up and grabbed him and did the Heimlich twice and it dislodged it and he threw up. He swallowed what ever he was choking on. We asked him what he had in his mouth and he said a penny. I went and looked behind the chair to see what else there was and there was 2 more pennies, and a lid to a water bottle and a small alan wrench set. It was scary and I am ever so greatful for the Heimlich.

Her top left tooth broke through today and it seems her other one is on the move. I hope once that one is through that they are done for a while.

Tonight we were going out to dinner but we were ahead of schedule so we stopped off at Build a Bear and Code, K, Matthew and Abbie picked out their stuffed animals. Well Ben picked Abbies. C got a snow leopard, K got Shrek, M after MUCH thought got a white dog (he named doggy) ben got Abigail a bunny with long ears that she likes to suck, yummmm. So we get to dinner and Kaitlen gives A a drink of her tea through her straw and would you belive she sucked it up through the straw twice!! She can also sit up for a fair amount of time and correct her balance. Boy, she's growing up too fast. The straw thing just gets me. oh, one of her top teeth should be in soon. What the heck?! a 5 month old should not have 3 teeth, yikes.

Just a swingin'

Little Miss Abigail loves her swing and I blame Ben...LOL... When she was like a week or two he held her between his two hands under her armpits and swung her to and fro untill she fell asleep. So we went and got her a cheap swing, she's our last so we're just waisting money anyway so get the cheapest. WEELLLLL, she loves her swing. She uses it several times aday. SHe is to big for her swing. So what do we have to do??? Get a bigger swing, one that goes up to 30#'s. Here it is. We should get it in a couple days. All of our kids had swings and she's the only one to like it. Thomas had my neices hand me down. Cody had his cousins hand me down. Kaitlen had a travel size one so cody couldnt accidently knock it over. Matthew used Kaitlens and when he was done with it we gave it to the church. It's funny because we had to borrow it to take with us to Vegas so A could have a swing to swing in. Oh, SHe's to big for that one too. What a moose. (a sweet moose)

Mom called and she has started losing her hair. So Tina and I went in together and ordered mom some hats/scarves. The first one they call a beanie, we ordered 2 of those. One in pink and one in camel. This is the scarf, the exact same one on top of the photos. Here is the sleep cap we ordered too, got the cream one. Here is a little something that i though she'd like to hold on to, especially during chemo. She is real excited about the hats. I hope they don't take to long to get to her.

Whats up with my animals

First thing in the AM Bessie and Kessie escape and are gone. The famer down the road sees Ben looking for them and tells him theres a dead cow in a hole ( somewhere on there property) so we are guessing the dogs went to go find this cow. THen we get that horrible storm and i think they'll never come back. Oh Noooooo at 2:00 am today(wed) the farmer comes to our house to tell us he believes our dogs are on his porch. It wouldn't have been a problem except they were barking and stuff. Turns out they got themselves lost and scared. So we went and picked them up. Our neighbors are a mile away. We get home and get them put away and i come in change clothes and clean up and my bird freaks out in her cage and rips off 2 feathers and starts bleeding. So she is on my shoulder right now. I hope the bleeding has stopped because they can bleed out rather fast. Dare i ask what next???

Our new Puppy

Here's Sammy our new puppy. She is a 5 month old Rottweiler. We picked her up near Ft Smith on our way home :o) We went and looked at her the Wed before we left for my mom's. She is sweet. She stay right under you no matter what your doing, even dirty diapers.

We are home.

We got home last night and i'm so tired. My body hurts. So today im going to lay around upload my pics and wait for my sister to get here. My sister Sheri and her family are driving back to Michigan. They left las Vegas yesterday. On there way out last week they stayed in Tulsa so they are going to stay at our house and leave on Tues.

Oh my she is a chunk. She just keeps growing. She's somewhere in the 17 # range. I just dont know the ounces. She is getting a ton of attention from all her Aunties and Nana. She can almost sit up on her own. she does it for a bit. She cant get her belly off the floor so i dont see her crawling anytime in the near future.

Boy, some days seem 'good', but when they are bad, there bad. You can go from a high high to a low low in almost a nanosecond. Definate emotional rollercoaster. It's very exhausting. so many feelings and i couldnt even begin to put it into words. I'm very very sad that I'm loosing my mom. we are planning to come back to my moms the 1st week in July, but she wants us to wait untill she moves to NC where my brother lives. She wants a huge family reunion. She even wants my dad there. They have been divorced for 21 yrs. I think if we can get the timing right they'd get remarried. (my moms husband left my mom last week, what a piece of &#@^#%@^@#&, but thats ok, it's better he's gone)

Hi everyone!!! i have my sisters laptop- yea. mom is doing good. she does chemo once a week. her sideeffects are not that bad. All controlled by meds. She goes for her treatments once a week for 3 months. Tomorrow is her 3rd treatment. Keep her in your prayers
