Fridays the day

That Ben gets the big V. Then no more babies for us. He's starting to get a little nervous. He's heard stories from both ends of the spectrum. From it's not bad at all to that it's really painful. I bet it doesnt come anywhere close to 5 pg, 5 labors and deliveries plus recovery. ;o) So we are planning on a nice relaxing weekend with lots of movies. The Superbowl is this weekend right? Well Sunday is already planned out. Maybe I'll make chili since we'll be missing the chili supper at church.

A friend of ours in Lowell had The Big V a couple of years ago just a few weeks after their third child was born. As the wife was taking him home from The Big Event, the doctor had the very nerve to tell her to make sure he spent the weekend on the sofa with his feet propped up and that she should pretty much do everything for him for a few days. She was furious and pretty much told the guy she had just gone through three pregancies from you-know-where and was going nuts taking care of three babies on no sleep and that no doctor had ever told her husband to let her lie on the couch for days at a time with the world waiting on her hand and foot. It was hilarious.

Good luck to Ben.

WTG Girl!!!!
i imagine it was a male Dr and we all know how men act when they are sick so i can imagine that they have life support standing by since we are talking about their ever so delicate man-ness.
I didnt go to the consultation because the little misses was sickie, but i guess the Dr kept asking how our marriage was. Ben kept saying fine. He wanted to make sure that this is what ben wanted and he wasn't being pressured and if our marriage didnt make it and he remarried then he couldn't have any more kids..... I was a little irked at the marriage thing. and for sure he had to read we have 5 kids. Ben has this not so cute saying "it's cheaper to keep her" He should have said that to the doc to throw him for a loop. but he was a little bit nervous so i dont think he was thrown by what the dr was saying.

Well to all you man haters, just so you know this is not normal for men to do this. Now women on the other hand are use to being bare foot and PG.

I've decided to let the poor guy live. Obviously it's his nerves talking becaue no husband in their right mind would ever say that, especially to 3 women who have been/are PG. :P
