They crack me up!

Every time i turn around they are doing something funny. Or just looking funny.

Patches ears stand up. Straight up!! Cody keeps asking me Why?? I have no idea, but i wish they'd go down because you can't help but laugh at the little fella.
Then here's Spot just sleeping away and Patches was chewing on his foot. LOL.

The pups have upgraded again. They eat dry kibble now and drink water. So they have their own food dish 24/7. I no longer have to give them there gruel mix at 2am. Yea!! I figured it out when i saw Spot eat a cheerio off the ground, lol. I think i was babying them to much. They also no longer have their little cave/den and no more heating pad. Just their bed, food and potty area. .......3 hots and a cot, lol.

Abbie and Spot. Ab or Matthew always has one of the pups. You have to be careful about were you step/sit because they are almost always tucked under a blanket sleeping.

They are still available if you want one or two. :) At the rate they are going now I'd say 2 more weeks, just need them bigger.

Lockdown

The puppies have started wondering around the house and in the middle of the night and potty were ever they want. Puppies are smart. They wont potty in their bed. They will walk out and potty on the camo flannel.

I haven't posted pics of Spot in a while. So here he is.

Thomas' girlfriend wants Patches so we'll see in a few weeks if its a for sure thing.

My next project...

This will be happening after halloween.
These are called Pettiskirts. Aren't they the most super custie girlie thing you've ever seen?? I think i really want to get a ruffler attachment for my sewing machine. I'm excited. I'll let you know how it goes!!

Finally. I've been telling her for EVER she needs to blog. So I made her a blog, lol. Now she has to blog. Anyway, she is funny and has cute kids and fur babies. She cusses so you are warned from here on out.

Awww, to sleep like a puppy

I was getting ready to go to bed and saw patches looking way to comfortable. I just wanted to crawl in there with him. So i took a pic and it kinda woke him up.

They are doing good. They come to you for cuddles and patches paws at your leg. They try to play with each other but just fall over. Spot is much bigger and lazy. Patches is tiny and acts like a spaz a bit. They are now on puppy kibble mixed with puppy milk in the food processor. I think I'll have them for another 4 weeks before we get rid of them. No one has asked for them so they are still up for FREE adoption. So they are looking nothing like a pit. Spot maybe a little in the head shape. Looking online they could be part German Short haired Pointer. Which is exactly what their dad looks like. I think it's pretty safe to say they are mutts. :)

Getting there

I did Kaitlens shoes. I was in Bens car the other day and found her old plastic shoes that fit her MUCH better then the new ones i bought her. So here they are. I think I'm all done with her costume. It rained all day here so when it dries up at the park I'll take her out for some pics.

I thought Kaitlen would go nutzo over a trick-or-treat bucket like this one and want to make it for her. So i bought all the kids buckets and planned on making the girls all super girlie.

Well, Miss Kaitlen wants none of that and she wants to use the black bucket with the skeletons. I even asked her a couple times just to make sure.

Kaitlens bday gifts

She asked for a guitar and an MP3 player. So she got it! :) Her guitar i got off eBay and I gave him an offer and he took it!! Its a Pink 3/4 Electric Guitar w/Amp set,Gig Bag and Cable. I hope the amp isn't too loud. yikes. The MP3 I got from Wal-mart. It has almost 5 stars and was a really good price. Geez, between the skull party and electric guitar her friends parents are going to think we're rockers, lol.
Oh, and cross your fingers that if any of the dads come along to the party the Ben hasn't arrested them. That's becoming a common problem with our kids events. When we had orientation for Cody when he was in Boy Scouts Ben had arrested 3 of the dads that was there. Then on Kaitlens softball team he had a run in with the assist coach who was "Sooo embarassed" and even a parent on her team which turns out we live down the road from.

Ok, here are some of Codys fave foods that some of us would not touch.

Here is the fried fish that i talked about.

This is dried shredded squid that he eats like people would eat beef jerky. One he left a bag on my computer and it got covered up by some paper and after some time i had this horrible smell in my den as it must have got wet and then rotted.

nori..... Seaweed. Code loves it. His fave veggie is spinach because its the same color as seaweed.

This is Meso soup. I like it too. It has seaweed, tofu and what ever the other stuff is in it. He likes to drink it when he's sick.

This is Kimchi and i can't stand the smell of it so i don't buy it but he'd eat it up with his Pop.

ok, this Cody has not had, but is only because the people at the Filipino restaurant wouldn't give it to him. lol. It is Balut. It is a duck egg that is not completely developed and then boiled and eaten. There is a body of a duck in there and cooked yolk. this is one of the nice pics. If you want to do a search of Balut and you can see the other pics.

Found the perfect costume

For Cody!!

I took the plunge and bid on it before showing him it. He was TOTALLY excited when i showed him. :) It is Sooooo him. Now, there is a rule at school that they can't wear masks and well, the mask makes the costume. He may just have to do the ol Deputy costume for school. He is so sick of it, lol.
ETA- Cody said he IS NOT wearing the Deputy uniform and he'll wear the wolf costume without the mask. lol........ The least i can do is get makeup and paint his face.

Cody was accepted to the Gifted and Talented program!!!

We got the letter on Saturday. We are obviously so proud of him. He gets to pick where he wants to have a celebration dinner. Out of all the places he picked chinese buffet. It's his choice so not like i can suggest OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE Code!!! lol

Coleman Update

I'm going to leave you with Coleman and Caden over the weekend :)

They are back in NY and Cman has gotten another battle wound, but went through it like a champ.

Here is what his Mom posted today............

Coleman got released this afternoon and is feeling fine. He says his head hurts a little when he laughs too hard, but he keeps giggling anyway.

It seems like we have a change in our game plan once again...
We met with Coleman's doctor this morning. She said after reviewing the 2 MRI's from Wed. and Thurs., we've lost some ground with his disease in the past month. It has spread some in both Coleman's brain and spine.
*Deep breath*

She also said it wouldn't be good to go to the 3f8 treatments at this time because we have one shot at it, and we need to try to reduce the disease again before starting.

*2nd deep breath*

So here's what she proposed...
We try another round of cytoxin with topetecan and try to get some reduction, with the 3f8 to follow.
Not sure if our insurance will cover it here, Scott's working on that, but she wanted us to come in Monday morning and we'll get started with the chemo.

Miss Kailten

She stayed home from school today. She begged and begged to go to school, but she still had no appetite and i was afraid she'd throw up when she did eat.
The pup closest to kaitlen is Patches and the other is Spot.

Yesterday I went to the Dollar General and they were having a huge clearance. I got her Cinderella shoes for 25¢, I will BLING them up for her :). Their summer stuff was 90% off so all together i spent 4.00 on next summers floaties and pool stuff. Oh, and Matthew had to have a whoopie cushion. Yeah, a 4 y/o and a whoopie cushion.... Fuuunnnyyyy. Who needs a whoopie cushion when you have Abigail who seems to beable to fart at will and thinks it's just HILARIOUS!!!! She's not ever 2, WTHeck, lol.

A turtle!!

Thomas went down to the creek and brought back a turtle.

I of course had to test the waters and got bit. Even though Thomas said don't do that, LOL.

So we tried giving him lettuce, but i think he preferred my finger.

Cinderella Tutu

It's not completely done. None of the white tulle is secure but it gives you and idea of what it will look like.

The princess is down an out today. The minute she got in the car from school she said her stomach hurt. I thought maybe she needed to go to the bathroom. Nope! She started throwing up. Thankfully, i had gone to the Dollar General so i tossed her the bag and she got most of it in the bag. She's a trooper.

Mom

I would have called you today. It's Oct. 1st. 6 yrs ago you called me on Oct 1st and told me,"Only 18 more days" I didn't have a clue what you meant. So you told me only 18 more days until the baby is due. So every yr after Kaitlen was born (on Oct 18th :) I would call you on the first of Oct and ask you, "Do you remember what you said to me (1 yr, 2 yrs, 3yrs ect) ago? You never remembered, LOL. It wouldn't have been you if you had remembered. I'd tell you that you called and what you had said.

Mom, today i would have called you. I would get to hear your voice. One more "Hey Baby" I would have talked to you today. We would have laughed.

I love you mom.
